About PAGET Self-cleaning Stainer Co.

Our PAGET brand of strainers are designed to successfully protect and increase the life of valves, pumps, traps, pressure regulators, controls and meters. Our design, rugged construction and large screening area, make our PAGET strainers exceptionally efficient. The strainer not only prevents passage of foreign matter in steam, water, air, oil or gas lines but retains it within the strainer body, where it is removed through a blow-off connection.

We can supply Y-type strainers in cast iron, ductile iron, lead free bronze, cast steel or stainless steel materials. The least expensive and most widely used are the cast iron strainers and are used in non-criti­cal applications involving low pressures and low temperatures. Ductile iron strainers are used when strength, temperatures or mechanical shock are important considerations. The ductile iron has basically the same mechanical properties as cast steel but costs much less. Ductile iron is recommended for LP Gass services. Stainless steel is used for food or chemical processing. Lead free bronze is generally used for saltwater or brine applications.

WARRANTY

PAGET, Self-Cleaning Strainers are warranteed to the original purchaser by Self-Cleaning Strainer Co., Inc. against defects in design material and workmanship for one ( 1) year following the date of purchase. Where the strainer is sold to a distrib­utor and later resold to the public, the date of the resale will be the date of purchase for purposes of warranty. Any strainer found defective within one (1) year of the purchase date will be replaced without charge within a reasonable time, provided the product is returned prepaid to Self­Cleaning Strainer Co., Inc. This warranty does not extend to defects or damage caused by failure of the purchaser to select the type of strainer and screen suitable for his service, pressure and tem­perature conditions, nor does this warranty extend to consequential damages resulting from use of PAGET, Self-Cleaning Strainers. Except for the foregoing , the strainers are sold without any other representations of any kind, and THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.

RETURN POLICY

All claims must be made in writing within 10 days after receipt of goods. No returns will be accept­ed without our written authorization. Return goods must be properly packaged and shipped prepaid. All returned goods will be subject to a restocking fee.

SHIPPING POLICY

In regard to Freight Collect Shipments, it shall be the purchaser's respon­sibility to insure arid to file all claims for lost or damaged shipments.
